Eligibility Criteria

Users may be eligible to claim voting power if they belong to any of the following groups:

  • Early users of Element Finance: Individuals who have used the Element protocol to provide liquidity (LP), trade, or mint.
  • Community contributors: Users who have engaged in meaningful conversations on Element’s Discord server.
  • Ecosystem contributors: Builders who have contributed to the public goods infrastructure supporting the Ethereum blockchain.

Additional Information

To claim voting power:

  1. Visit Element’s Council Dashboard and connect your wallet.
  2. If eligible, a ‘Claim’ button will appear in the ‘Portfolio’ section and the sidebar menu.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to select a delegate for your voting power. You can:
    • Choose from a list of ‘Featured Delegates’.
    • Self-delegate.
    • Enter a valid wallet address to delegate your votes.
  4. Review your claimable amount and delegate information, then confirm the transaction in your web3 wallet (note: gas fees apply).
  5. Upon successful transaction, your ELFI tokens will be deposited into the locking Voting Vault, enabling you to participate in governance proposals.
