Eligibility Criteria

The Vesuvius airdrop targets early community members, developers, and infrastructure providers. The eligibility is based on:

Lava Early Users:

  • Users who participated in Lava testnet over the past 1.5 years.
  • Those who ran an RPC node, added new chains, or used Lava-powered RPC through Magma.

RPC Providers:

  • Providers scored based on RPC requests served:
    • 5k, >300k, >10m, >122m (1 point per tier)

  • Number of chains served:
    • <2, <4, <8, 8+ chains (0.5 points per tier)

Magma Users:

  • At least one relay made over the duration of Magma.
  • Connected Twitter or Gmail before the snapshot.
  • Users scored on:
    • Wallet activity (verified via Flipside Analytics).
    • Magma activity (days active, RPC methods used, chains tested, referrals).
    • Social activity (tweets, mentions, minimum follower count).

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Spam bot behavior (e.g., identical usage patterns, fake accounts, mass account creation).
  • Social inactivity (e.g., 1,000 followers but no tweets).
  • DDoS attempts or circumventing rate limits.

Node Runners & Infrastructure Providers:

  • Eigenlayer AVS node operators with at least 2 delegators and a minimum $50 stake.
  • Graph Indexers currently active.

Researchers & Technical Contributors:

  • Contributors to Eigenlayer, CosmosSDK, Flashbots, Celestia.

Additional Information

  • The Vesuvius airdrop represents a smaller, focused distribution compared to other airdrops.
  • Lava Public Mainnet launch is the anticipated distribution event.
  • Emphasis on decentralization, infrastructure support, and community-driven blockchain adoption.
